The Centre for Perinatal Health & Parenting

So, I Need Therapy for Myself, My Whole Family, or My Child ….. but what therapy will suit us best?

A common query we receive from families and referrers alike … and the choices can often be overwhelming. In this month’s newsletter we explain the ins and outs of some of the therapies we offer, and if you still can’t decide, just give us a call and our friendly reception team will walk you through it.

At The Centre for Perinatal Health & Parenting we offer the following approaches to therapy for adults and children:

  • Psychology

  • Childhood Psychological Assessments for ADHD; ASD; ODD; Learning Disorders and Cognition

  • Counselling - Adult & Child

  • Couples Counselling

  • Creative Therapy

  • Massage Therapy

  • Clinical Nutrition

  • Perinatal & Infant Health Medical Practitioner (including Pregnancy Shared Care, infant sleep, and breastfeeding counselling)

  • Mental Health Social Work/ Psychotherapy

  • Play Therapy

  • Art Therapy

  • Equine Therapy

  • Yoga

Sometimes we have whole families referred to us and we are able to carefully discuss which therapy will work best for each individual family member.

Having therapies and supports all under one roof provides convenience and privacy. With easy-access free car parking onsite, a cuppa on arrival, and being surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature on our 10 acres, the experience is bound to be pleasurable rather than feel like an ongoing chore.

It is our aim to ensure children, in particular, look forward to  the experience of therapy rather than feel like they are broken and need to be fixed. We aim to exceed expectations in all facets, and our staff continue to strive to do so.

Let’s talk soon,

Lou :)
